
The first three days of the MAKS 2019 International Air Show saw signing of contracts for aircraft and helicopter supply as well as a number of workshop conferences.
At the close of the business program of the show, three clients, including one from Kazakhstan, placed orders for MS-21 medium-haul aircraft. Azimuth airline purchased two SSJ100 jets pters signed a deal to supply ten Mil Mi-8AMT helicopters for operations in Russia’s Far North.
During the MAKS 2019 business program, it was announced that mass production of the most advanced destroyer, Mikoyan MiG-35, has begun. The design now includes more hardpoints for weaponry and a cutting-edge Pilot Assistant system. Advanced electronics will allow pilots to obtain targets at a distance of up to 400 km.
One of the most promising unmanned aerial vehicles for civil purposes was presented at MAKS. The drone has a range of up to 10K km and can operate in the air for up to 40 hours.
