Multiple products of Russian defense industry companies are displayed at the 15th Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition in Malaysia these days, one of them being Orion-E complex, an unmanned aerial system. It is the first time Orion-E is exhibited outside Russia.
Orion-E is a complex air reconnaissance system weighing about 1,000 kilograms and capable of taking a payload of 200 kilograms. Its flight duration may exceed 24 hours. Major purposes of its use are air reconnaissance and surveillance, target localization and area survey.
This unmanned aerial system was fully designed and manufactured in Russia of 100% Russian made components.
