Rhenus Freight Logistics launches logistics complex in Voronezh Region

On May 22, the German company Rhenus Freight Logistics opened a large logistics hub in central Russia’s Voronezh Region, including a 20,000 sq. m. warehouse with a fresh zone for storing perishable products and 2,500 sq. m. of office space. Mr. Olaf Metzger, Managing Director at Rhenus Freight Logistics, said the facility is an integral part of the Rhenus Silk Road project, which connects the company’s clients in Europe and Asia.

The company will especially focus on working with clients in agriculture; EkoNiva holding, a major local farm producer, is already among the Rhenus Freight Logistics clients.

The opening of the Rhenus Freight Logistics hub will give a new boost to the development of trade, economic and friendly relations between the Voronezh Region and Germany.
