Rostov Region, Azerbaijan expand cooperation

Azerbaijan and Russia’s Rostov Region signed cooperation agreements in industry, tourism, consulting, humanitarian and other sectors at a business forum held in Baku on March 4, Azernews portal reports. This business forum was attended by a delegation headed by Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev, and nearly 100 businessmen from both countries involved in trade, manufacturing, education, healthcare, agriculture, logistics, insurance, consulting, etc.

Addressing the forum, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said that political will and joint efforts provide a solid foundation for expanding economic cooperation between the two countries. One of the important areas of Azerbaijan-Russia cooperation is trade and investment. Azerbaijan closely cooperates with more than 70 constituent entities in Russia. Mikayil Jabbarov invited Rostov Region entrepreneurs to fully benefit from favorable business and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan.
