
Austria’s Pfahnl plans to open a bakery ingredients production facility in the Kalinin County. On July 18, a delegation from Upper Austria, the investor and representatives of the Tver Region government visited the future site of the factory in the Borovlyovo Industrial Park.
The Pfahnl investment project includes the creating a bakery ingredients production facility and a training center for the company’s employees and partners. To that end, the company registered a legal entity in the region and purchased a 2.6-ha land plot. Planned investment is over RUR 1 bln ($16 mio); the new facility will also create 50 jobs. The implementation of the project is planned for spring 2020.
Pfahnl is a family-owned producer of flour and baking ingredients. The company was founded in 1476 and currently has 9 foreign affiliates and bakery centers.
