The Russian Pension Fund recommended that senior citizens avoid going outside – a necessary precaution to stay away from the COVID 19 infection.
The recommendations for people over 60 are posted on the Pension Fund website. According to Rospotrebnadzor, older people are more at risk of contracting the virus than other people.
They also have a higher risk of getting serious complications, so they are advised to limit the use of public transport and stores and to ask younger relatives to do grocery shopping for them.
If they feel unwell, it is recommended to call a doctor right away, Lenta.ru writes.
