LUKOIL donated around 450K liters of gasoline and diesel fuel to aid ambulance teams in several Russian regions, including Nizhny Novgorod Region and republics of Komi and Tatarstan, corporate web page reports.
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic led to a dramatic increase in the number of ambulance calls, which translated into a need for additional fuel. LUKOIL does not limit its help to medical transport and provides free fuel for the vehicles of volunteer organizations that help disadvantaged groups in the republics of Karelia and Udmurtia, as well as in Astrakhan, Voronezh, Krasnodar and Perm regions.
