PROP MP ORTEZ, a resident company of the Slava technology park in Moscow, has developed Russia’s first prosthesis for animals and released exclusive prototypes. Until recently, artificial limbs for animals were imported from other countries; now these products will be manufactured in Russia.
ORTEZ representatives said they have already released exclusive prototypes of their products, the first artificial limbs for animals on the Russian market. At present, the closest country where they are made is Ukraine. Spokesperson Darya Stepura said the company’s engineers consulted with clinics and veterinarians as they were developing the prosthesis.
“Today, the market for orthoses and prostheses in Moscow and other Russian regions is empty; any new developments available are for the most part created by doctors themselves right on the spot,” she added.
The startup management noted the highly professional expertise they benefit from at the Slava tech park, such as market assessment and help with product presentations.
Another resident of the tech park, Axitech, has developed a device for remote analysis of wastewater. The company’s specialists have created water monitoring sensors, which send the data to a database. This system rules out the possibility of falsifying the monitoring results.
