Great Wall to fully localize its production in Russia

New Haval (part of a major Great Wall Motor Company Limited) manufacturing facility was launched on June 5 at Uzlovaya industrial park in Tula Region. The investment agreement between Great Wall and regional government was signed in 2014 and construction of production facilities started in autumn 2015. Aggregate investment in the facility aiming to produce 80K vehicles a year reached $500 mio.

The Haval plant in Tula Region is the first Chinese full cycle vehicle manufacturer abroad. It will produce Haval F7, F7Х, and H9. The plant is Great Wall’s first strategic step to fully localize its production in Russia.

Great Wall Motor Company Limited is a major manufacturer of trucks, cars and buses in China with over 30 subsidiaries.
