Moscow technology companies will be helped to enter the Indian market

The Moscow Export Center, in partnership with GVA, is launching an acceleration program for Moscow technology companies to enter the Indian market – Tech Export to India (TEI).

Tech Export to India will help Russian high-tech companies adapt their product to the local market, hold online meetings with potential customers and partners and get the support of industry experts from India.

Companies with finished products from sectors of IT technologies, energy, transport, life science and retail will be able to take part in the selection for the Tech Export to India program. You can apply from June 6 to July 20 on the program website.

“The Moscow Export Center, together with GVA, is implementing the second stream of the Tech Export to India program for technology companies from the city, which will be able to adapt the product to a new target audience and scale the business. At the same time, the MEC co-finances 90% of the cost of the accelerator: such support helps Moscow companies significantly reduce export time and acquire new foreign economic activity skills,” said Vitaly Stepanov, Acting General Director of the Moscow Export Center.

“This program is extremely practical and focused on creating the most objective picture of the market and a large number of connections with the necessary partners and customers. That is why 95% of all experts on the program are Indians. Entrepreneurs, investors, heads of innovation departments of large Indian and international corporations. And we see, according to previous programs, that this approach works! The program will allow participants to develop an export strategy for the Indian market, to check quickly the demand for the product, to adapt the business to the needs of the market, to expand the network of business contacts, to hold meetings with potential partners and clients, to gain an understanding of the context of doing business in the country, to study cultural features for building business relations, to work out existing agreements with Indian partners and investors, to obtain individual advice from industry experts on marketing, sales, HR, etc., to improve presentation skills to foreign partners, customers, investors and to make first sales.

The main requirements for candidates – the team must have a legal entity in Moscow registered at least 6 months ago, as well as have stable sales on the Russian market or MVP on the international market.
